Baranowitz + Kronenberg Architecture is responsible for the (interior) design of many well-known hotels and restaurants. They wanted to expand their brand awareness in Europe and the United States and found the perfect partner in Organisation in Design.
Analysis
B+K Architecture is the internationally acclaimed architecture studio of Irene Kronenberg and Alon Baranowitz, based in Amsterdam and Tel Aviv. Over the past twenty years the studio has been responsible for creating hotels, restaurants and public and commercial spaces that attract modern nomads and locals alike. With their unique contextual awareness, they not only keep local history relevant but also serve the needs of global cities of the 21st century.
What we did
Organisation in Design developed a PR strategy and ensured that the B+K Architecture message was transmitted right. The goal was to build on their expert status through interviews, media attention and strategic talks and lectures in Europe and the United States.
We wrote and sent out press releases and we pitched B+K Architecture and their work to preferred media and (design) events. We organised a press event for the opening of the Sir Joan hotel in Ibiza, where we were responsible for the entire organisation and outcome. We set up interviews and articles in several design media. Besides this, we arranged for B+K Architecture to become a panel member at FRAME Lab and a keynote speaker of the Sleep + Eat Conference in London.
