Future Architecture

Client’s wish

The Future Architecture platform facilitates interaction and exchange between institutions, emerging creatives and audiences within the world of architecture. Future Architecture wanted to expand the communication of their activities, strengthen the relationships between international platform members and increase visibility and recognition of all the players involved in the platform.

Analysis

The Future Architecture platform is a community of European cultural players in architecture, coordinated by MAO, Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It connects emerging talents to high profile institutions, museums, galleries, publishing houses, biennials, and festivals, who organise the European Architecture Program, a series of interconnected architectural events in Europe. Next to that, it organizes the Creative Exchange, an annual gathering of architecture professionals in Ljubljana. The Creative Exchange brings together platform members and 25 of the most progressive emerging talents. This offers opportunities to connect and keep up with the latest developments and tendencies in global architecture.

What we did

Organisation in Design created PR Guidelines where we provided the platform members with clear content and a visual style which they all adhered to when sending out their own communications. The goal was that each member sent out press releases and newsletters in their own style, but could also clearly be identified as a member of the Future Architecture platform. We reinforced this by using our network to send out press releases and an Open Call for emerging creatives.
During the Creative Exchange we organised a Communication and PR Workshop aimed at establishing a personal and collective connection between members and the platform, keeping members connected to each other during the year and helping members to clearly communicate and reinforce the Future Architecture platform story.

These activities resulted in strengthened platform member relationships, a heightened influx of new talent applying for the Open Calls and increased international visibility of the Future Architecture platform activities and the activities of its members.
